Even more live Lady Gaga

Three-time Brit-Award winner Lady Gaga has extended her fabulously successful Monster Ball tour in the U.K. with a new promoter, Live Nation Global Touring.

The original stage production has been scrapped and re-vamped for her British audience, according to Arthur Fogel at Live Nation.  He said that the production is now much more lavish and “beyond amazing.”

However, some Lady Gaga fans are questioning the ticket prices.  The tour began last month in Manchester, with tickets priced between £27.50 and £35.  When she returns to the U.K., performances are scheduled for May and June in Birmingham, Manchester, London, Nottingham and Sheffield. The dates for Nottingham and Sheffield were postponed from the current tour and rescheduled in May and June, respectively.

Tickets purchased for the postponed performances at Sheffield and Nottingham will be honoured at the rates at time of purchase.  Tickets for the rest of the tour, including the venues Lady Gaga visited previously, are now priced between £50 and £75.  Fans have been wondering whether they are paying a lot more for the same show.

Live Nation wants to reassure them that this is not the case.  The new show is so much more spectacular (and cost so much to develop) that the current prices are right in line.

Fans who caught the show on the earlier leg can expect to get their money’s worth again, even at the higher prices.  Guess you’ll have to buy a ticket and go see the show to find out for yourself.
